In times of rapid social developments and technical innovations, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung Technischen Nachwuchses (GFTN) has set itself the goal of offering demand-, practice- and customer-orientated training and further education with the highest educational quality in the field of technical applications.
The company was founded in 1958 at the former State Engineering School for Mechanical Engineering (from 1971 to 2006 Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, FHD, and since 1 March 2006 Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, h_da) and is primarily dedicated to training and further education as well as technology transfer.
In accordance with its statutes, the profits generated benefit the students of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences through various projects and activities.
