Point to Space

Point to Space is a series of events organized by students at the Design Department of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. Guest speakers and members of the faculty present a wide variety of design positions in lectures and workshops and encourage discussion.

This lecture series is intended to encourage students to explore the entire spectrum of design, to create space for perspectives beyond classical industrial and communication design, to promote interdisciplinary thinking and work, and to give students and those interested in the field an insight into diverse creative careers.

Point to Space is a series of events organized by students. It was initiated in 2019 by Fabio Sacher and Sabeth Wiese and has since been organized by students of the Design Department under the supervision of Prof. Philipp Thesen.
